Blackberry phones are designed and manufactured by Research in Motion (RIM). The Ontario Canada based company was founded in 1984 and has revolutionized the Smart Phone industry. RIM has been credited by many as the founders of the modern Smart Phone. The first blackberry to support email was introduced in 2002 and sold over 10 million copies in its various forms. RIM now has over 21 million subscribers and offers a variety of keyboard and touch screen enabled Smart Phones in countries all over the world.
